They will launch their own crypto - this is the only reason I believe. Most of the government in the world is processing it as we speak.

China is one weird lalaland place, I think this is the 10th times already they ban crypto, I can hear the stories almost every year.

China is unpredictable for sure.

China has been banning crypto since 2017. Not news.

Yes they have a digital currency in beta. It's live in a few major cities.

The real reason they ban it is because it represents freedom. The communist party does not like people to have options. The good thing about it is that you can't stop blockchains. People will use it with or without the permission of the leader.
