My website traffic dropped around 50% gradually in 1 week

I also noticed a change in myself and did not understand what had happened.

google has rolled out a new update called webpage title update in which he is changing the title on a webpage only in serp in order to present an accurate title for website visitors basically he is changing those webpage titles where you have done keyword stuffing or the title is not representing the webpage content. in most of the cases Google is picking H1 as webpage title

I noticed in June that traffic to my main site was gradually declining, along with the amount of keywords in positions 1 - 3 (according to ahrefs).

As of this month, the traffic remains down but the keywords have all start improving again. But revenue has continued to improve so it seems like relevant traffic has improved even though the overall numbers look worse.

The major change is that they are stacking multiple results from same domain together. So, there is little chance of seeing multiple results from same domain.

I have not seen any changes for my sites.

Try making do/nofollow links with titles as anchors in second/third tier.

What are you planning to do now?
I'll start with content optimization I guess and will do SILO also because my website is a blogging website

and yes you can download the list of keyword in which you were ranking before in good position and then make a strategy for your website on how you can improve those rankings

yes you are somewhat right in this case because one of my website is ranking on first and second position for a keyword

Curating the content on different sites can defeat it !!

Hello Guys
:wave::skin-tone-3:
As you all know that google has released a new update about title tag. So below I am sharing some key points about that update if you have missed some:Google might consider one of these things for your title tag1. Content Of H1
2. Content of other heading tags
3. Any decorated text means any text written in bold, underline and, in italic
4. Anchor Text of links on the webpage
5. Alt attributes of the image on the webpage
Now moving forward here are some reason why google will change your title
1. If title is too long
2. If keywords have been stuffed
3. If default text is present
4. If text does not represent the contentHere I am pasting a code by which you can actually see those webpages whose title has been changed in SERP for that keyword. How to install the code
1. Right Click on your chrome browser bookmark and select add page
2. Now rename the page title to "Title Change" or whatever you want to change
3. Now paste the code in page URL box and save the pageNow search for a keyword in the serp
After that click on the bookmark that you have just saved. Now you will see a title written in red color. It means that the previous title for that page was the title in red.If you need any help with installing the code let me know
:slightly_smiling_face:

edit: can't add the code here don't know why but if you need the code you can pm me
