[Question] How to verify a GMB listing w/o postcard?

The usual response is to hire someone, but can anyone shed some light on the actual process on how I could go about verifying a listing for myself in a city where I don't actually operate?

Earlier (long time back) please used to trigger Phone verification using brute force and mass upload and stuff. But google quickly caught on to that. Today there exist methods to be able to verify the listings but those are obviously expensive given if you find a legit method and seller.

It seems to be around $100-200 USD to pay someone to verify it, but I am just so curious as to how they get it done. I'd be willing to even pay someone to show me tbh. I tried the google search console verification but it didn't change anything, I only get the "send postcard" method as an option.

Some time ago I spent ages trying to get my GMB verified, and I was always trying to do it from my laptop.

One day I tried from my mobile and it was verified instantly. Maybe just luck? Give it a try if you haven't done so yet.

There are about 3 possible methods that might exist today. One of which involves postcard and other two might now. It's really hard to figure out any of it by yourself. But yes, it's difficult to find a seller. Also, try not to get yourself scammed in one of those Facebook groups which sell methods.
