Hypothetical question.

If you have option to get a link from 2 different sites. (guest post )

example

Site 1

DR 50
Traffic 40k per month
Generic ( it has Keywords related to your niche Ranked on page 1 )

Site 2

DR 80
Traffic 2mil
Generic website ( it has no related keywords ranked to your niche )

Both sites are from same country its same language

Would you take it from site 1 or site 2 and why ?

I would definitely go with option number 1

I would think well of site 2, if the whole site is about games, for example, and I want a health article, I would go with option 1.

If #2 isn’t too aggressive and if it doesn’t look like "too much", I’d go with option 2.

Why ?
Do you think link itself is more powerful because its kinda more relevant, or because of potential traffic you might get since Site 1 is ranked for some of those keywords ?
As 1st option contains more relevant keywords I do prefer 1st option.

Both are generic news sites,
just Site one lets say posted some news about the niche xx and got ranked naturally for those

Definitely, My option is site 1, It has keywords related to my niche, Relevancy is a must.
How much relevancy is enough ?

If i post a guest post on Site 2 it will also have keywords related to my niche

give me site 2, at DR 80 topical relevancy doesn't matter... just check the rankings for the most competitive affiliate keywords right now.

If site 2 has relevant keywords for your niche, You can post there It has a good DR metric but Also make sure to do guest posts under the relevant category.

damn, that's a tough one. I'd pick site 2, though for the extra authority and traffic. I know that the traffic might be unrelated to your niche, but then again, it's a generic niche so some of that traffic might be interested in your niche at any time. And since the price is the same for both websites the double authority might make the difference

Point is it doesn't have, but since we are talking about Guest post once you post it, it will have, so is Site 1 really more relavant in that case?
