How legit is using someone else's Twitch clips?

I would love to hear someone's experienced opinion on this. How much trouble can this cause me? (growing few channels with clips and gameplays)

Also, as I know it's vital for the algorithm - I produce my own content as well. Repeated content tends to get less attraction over the web, right?

What if you grow your youtube channel with this videos and in the future when you want to monetize with adsense you delete this videos or make them private and start to upload original content?

Will this have a negative effect on the channel?

I see a lot of ppl spreading false informations here.
i have a channel with 70k subs based on twitch clips, and there is a ton of big channel especialy in gaming niche that have no problems since years, so "being big" has nothing to do with getting flagged.
Which matter is : how you gather the clips and how you are creating your video with them.

There is aa ton of channel who were terminated when they tried to grew up this kind of channel, and this is always the same mistake.
For exemple, my channel based on clips had no problem for 6 months back in the days, then she got flagged. I managed to get my channel back in the game, then got demonetised. I was making 4 figures/month before that. Since youtube does't explain what the problems are, i made research for weeks and corrected some stuff, and all is fine now.
There is big importants elements you have to avoid, but this kind of channels works if you manage to do it correctly.
The only thing to avoid is fortnite videos.
I don't know why back in 2019 youtube deleted a ton of channel (big or small) related to it, but with this specific game, it's totally random.
