I'we been in adult sites business for a while, cashed some cheques. Never thinking about it. This morning wife and I had coffee with our mutual friend which is female. She said that I am never going to succeed with porn, because it's bad karma. She said that all this girls in porn are tortured and are acting agains their will. Nonsense I sad and opened up youtube to post some soft porn.

Do you think about that sometimes?

You are not directly involved in this. You are just taking a part of a rotten cake.
The stigma is on you. Karma is on someone doing illegal stuff. Porn is legal.

I don't believe what your wife has said since many women post their naked images and videos voluntarily on the web.

So the affect is merely mental.
If you spread your income wisely, you will not even notice the impact and with time this type of money making method will become boring.

Girls are lining up to be in porn these days lol. Noone's forcing them into it, they're quitting college and starting OnlyFans accounts. Sure it's not the most sustainable career path, but that's a moral question, not one of volition. 99.9% of girls in porn are doing it voluntarily.

" Noone's forcing them into it, " Really?

I've friends in the UK police who are detectives and regularly find people forced into porn by criminals who are classed as organised crime.

How wrong your comment is and how far out of touch people really are, they think that way.

I would agree with you I have relatives in the police who told me in their own words"The porn industry has a giant amount of women or men forced into it "

Not everyone is forced into but a lot are as well

I just wished it was true. Everyone has their own reality. Unfortunately you broke my dreams.

It's beneficial for both parties involved, provided it's consensual. Many people willingly enter the adult entertainment industry, both males and females.

Guys you missed the point of the post. I was actually asking should I feel guilt since I am affiliate of porn. I am not producer or anything about making it. I am just distributing porn over websites and writing about it...

"Karma" is a fairy tale humans invented. A girl scout can get run over by an sweet old grandmother while a murderer gets away scot-free to live out their days. Life is just one enormous random number generator brother. I've never once felt guilt. It's just business. Don't feel guilty. Get paid. Take care.

Unfortunately the cosmos is perfect. Cosmic numbers and laws can't be changed. Why? Read the 1st sentence.

There are products we buy and use that are manufactured by big global brands thorugh their supply chains, in some 3rd world countries literally using slave / forced labour and we've read the same numerous times in the news. So, buying and using almost any product could result in bad karma for us, right ?

I have friends in porn, performers as well as agents, and have heard a completely different narrative. So it comes down to your friends vs my friends which is weak grounds for any reasonable argument, is it not? :)

That's not to say there isn't an underbelly to the industry, but one could say that about most industries. There's a strong case to be made for not marketing many products because of the abysmal conditions (sweatshops) in which they're made. So where does one draw the line in terms of what counts as a human rights violation and what doesn't?

Yes I do feel guilt sometimes. I would rather do a job that makes people happy.

What is the percentage of girls/guys forced into porn compared to overall number of pornstars?

If a huge chunk say upto 30% is forced then something is really wrong somewhere. While I believe there are a fee people who were likely forced into porn the vast majority aren't forced due to the nature of the industry and the kind of attention and scrutiny it attracts.

By porn I mean actual porn not sextape kind of production than end up getting leaked or published without the girls/guys consent.

By her line of reasoning she should stop buying more than 80% of products since a lot of them have a part where a worker is underpaid, has bad working conditions, forced into it or slavery involved. Hey, no one ever gives a shit about those people who make less than 5 dollars a day. Better cry about the woman in the 1st world country who makes 500$ for an hour of work because she felt a bit guilty being a slut!

Fam. don't let your wife or whatever shame you. She is using a MANIPULATION TACTIC on you to maybe make you get out of the industry (or to get out of CPA)

You spend your day looking at hot bitches, she get's insecure because of it.

She is using shaming tactics and manipulation on you PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

watch her start crying if you tell her that she is trying to manipulate.

thats just Females 101
