Get Nvu. It's WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get") and it's free.

Download a free trial of dreamweaver and find some free templates to edit. You'll be making websites in no time. Dreamweaver is worth buying. I think $300 by itself or there are other ways to get :)

Use XsitePro or Artisteer
you can find both this softwares here in BHW

I think any hosting with fantastico is what you need to get started really fast - then just learn to use any of the programs installed by fantastico. For example, you can have wordpress or joomla sites in 30 seconds, and then you just have to install addons, couldn't be easier.

i started with xsite pro and learned a lot on the way... not sure if its in the DL section or not

enter something like "css templates free" in a search engine box.

review free templates.

download.

cut and paste.

I started out with FrontPage and saw that it was writing erroneous code which made it difficult to hand code plus the search engines didn't like it either.

Dreamweaver is by far the best, it has a WYSISYG as well as the hand coding so you can easily make edits within the code, plus it codes alot better then FP. Just my .02

in the dreamweaver free trial do they allow u to upload your website and keep editing it or after the trial ends you cant do anything with the website
