Inviting "non-friends" to a facebook group

I have a facebook group that i have monetized very successfully.
I want to scale it even further but i can only add people to the group who are on my friends list.

In the past you could invite by email and even more recently there was an "add extra feature" section
where you could add a "work feature" and invite workmates by email address without having to be a "friend" first.

I can't seem to find these methods so i don't know if facebook has blocked it (that "work" feature was only introduced last year)

Is there any method that works today to invite non-friends to a facebook group?

Hey, OP! Can you share what kind of monetisation do you implement in your FB group? Is it paid posts (for promotion) in group where promotion is prohibited, or something else? I'm am very curious
But how to invite non-friends into a group - I have the same problem, and would like to know how to do it too!
