Register .FR domain if not from EU?

Hey bros!

Any sure way to register .FR domains if not from France or EU countries? Googled some but no valid info, if this means you have to be EU in order to register .fr domain?

How about Godaddy representative service? Anyway used them? Please share your experience.

Had more than 12 domains in .fr extension. They usually say that they need personal info but you can submit anything there as long as its a france adress, phone...

I have a 7 years domain there with no issue at all.

I tried registering an Italian domain from the UK recently with no luck, think it will be hard as it required European tax information that I didn't have. Could you get someone in France to purchase the domain on your behalf and transfer ownership?

When you buy a .fr, registrar ask your name, address, phone number, etc. It can ask a probe. Furthermore, in France, there is an office which check that .fr are really bought by French or by European. If not, it blocks your .fr.

SIREN is the number that you get when you are a freelancer or business creator in France.
The age of the domain doesn't matter. My registrar ask me info every year, and I'm customer since ... 9 years.

Get it from Obambu (obviously Im not affiliated with them)
Just ordered one a month ago.

1- Register the domain.
2- They will block it until you add contact details from france
3- Any fake adress will work. (Leave the Siret empty)
4- They will activate the domain in less than 24h

You are full of beans. There isn't a difference if you buy a .com or .fr. France is no different than South Africa, or Puerto Rico.

Only company or individual residing within the European Union as well as in Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein can register a .FR domain and details get checked and verified. Only other way is through an appropriate agent or agency in France (or countries mentioned above).

I own many .fr that I registered from french registars and they never asked for ID or whatever, I pay with them using a french CC tho
