Those kids struggling to go viral on tiktok are smarter than the OP who probably thinks the only way to make money in 2021 is building a full business website and promoting it on BHW.

Hello, America's decline started when people stopped taking responsibility for their own actions. Now days few take responsibility for their actions, it is always someone or something else's fault be it parents, teachers, neighbors, friends, climate change, racism, Confederate statues, or symbols, income inequality, lack of diversity, etc., etc. etc.!
 
As someone who takes no interest in society and can view it from outside the bubble, I can say with utmost certainty, It's been going downhill for a while now. Welcome to the end of the world, please keep your arms and legs inside the cart at all times, or else it might get bit off by rabid zoomers and millennials.
 
I guess most of us are unaware of the new normal, so we brand the new normals as "brain dead", etc. Could it be this or what ? I'm not sure.
And, for those TikTok viral video types, the rest of us are "brain dead" .... So, is it that we all are "brain dead" ???

We don't know when it will end. Because we are the first who experienced so many technological changes and are exploring new laws/regulations on the spot.

There is no blueprint on how to deal with stuff like this. We just happen to live in a time when technology progressed so quickly, that we can't keep up.
 
People are normal in 2021 you obviously didn't grow up in the 70's :)

It definitely matters for them, and most likely also for you, but think about it for a while.

What are they making the "big" money from? Do they create any value? Do they benefit the watchers in any real way? Or are they making their followers just more stupid and dependent on such a content?

And, would you love your kid to earn living in such a way (once you have one)?

Money is fine, but you should not measure someone's success by how much money they made. For me, a guy working as a dustman is more successful (and 100 times more important) than any person living from a SM platform such as Tiktok, as long as they post the type of content OP described...

But each to their own of course. Just wanted to give you some food for thought, if you happen to not be "braindead" yet :).

there is no right or wrong answer to this, but you made a good point.

The problem with social medias is that it is a trend, remember myspace?

A lot of influencers on instagram who won a lot before are now struggling because the organic reach is declining more and more.

I think today social medias are all about ads, if you don't learn the ad game very well, you will have issues with organic at some point..

i like to think that maybe when they are in charge in 30 years or so, they will be too busy dancing and following trends to start new wars like all previous generations. maybe a more ludic lifestyle IS the answer. time will tell.
 
Because information that should be classified is available freely and out in the open and people don't know what to do with it.
 
Its not an "era".

Been going on for a long time.

Its just that we all see it now with the Internet.

I was a teen before the internet.

Trust me, plenty of stupid people.
 
You must live in your own world.

You should leave city and live in village or mountain.

You need good stream income and nice cash flow to feel happy, make it constant.

Find normal wife, raise kids, do what you love, even if you have to travel to random places.

That is the life a normal person should aim for.

That is profile 1.


This is profile 2.

Pumping at gym, drugs doping, plastic, instagram followers and die for a perfect pic.

Sleep during the day, visit clubs, lose your sober at all costs, get laid.


Many more profiles and worlds, you should live in your own and attempt to act/change/edit other profiles when you're able to have profile 1 which is extremely rare and hard.

Only few are there.
