I have a budget of $500/m for black hat SEO for my money site to which I write original high quality content (DA 30), if you had that budget how would you spend it?

I thought $350 on link buying (guest posts and niche edits)
$100 on social signaling
$50 on blog commenting

What would you do with $500?

I would buy high-quality guest posts and link insertions. Although it's a good idea to buy other types of links, your ratio above looks good.

Watch out for Guest post farms. They're everywhere.

If you know what you're buying, definitely links.
How can you tell? I plan to mainly buy from the bhw marketplace

Social signals are the likes, shares, and views of social media posts. These social likes, shares, and views signal to search engines and your social media followers that your content is useful and relevant. ... Search engines want to rank and promote content that resonates and engages readers.

Briefly, link building is the process of establishing relevant hyperlinks (usually called links) to a website from external sites. Link building can increase the number of high-quality links pointing to a website, in turn increasing the likelihood of the website ranking highly in search engine results.

If you already got the content and have targetted keywords that you can compete in, all that's left is getting links,
social signals and blog comments are a huge waste, "social signals" will not have any actual impact on the SEO, so nofollow blog comments links,
you can go with renting some decent PBN links or build your own slowly other than guest posts and niche edits, they do give a really better boost compared to the budget invested

ditto on this

@viralspy - ignore social signals. you can buy 10K likes for few dollars and you will not see any improvement in ranking. this might have worked before, but it does not anymore. focus on few high quality backlinks.

Social Signals may not work for Google, but Bing use it as ranking factor

You don't need social signals and blog comments. It's better to grow your own social media handles with that budget.

Interesting question.. In my case I will spend:

300$ on guest posts and niche edits
100$ on PBNs
100$ on Foundation backlinks, mix backlinks, tier 2 links and social signals
1-5 hours on technical SEO and OnPage SEO... time based on your website.

Overall my preferred anchor ratio will be like 50% to targeted keywords, 30% raw and naked URLs and 20% on generic and brand name anchors.

Let me know if you have any other question regarding linkbuilding and SEO.

First, you should understand exactly how Google works and how they rank pages.
Second save your $500, it’s not going to do anything for you. Think of what big companies are spending on marketing? Competing against even a mid size business with a small budget…you will never win. You will go broke quick.
Go to Google and search for “ How does Google rank websites” click on the title that says “How Google Search Algorithm Works”
Learn that page, also learn Google’s webmaster guidelines. Google says if you are building or paying for links, likes or followers to “manipulate” rankings, you are harming not marketing your site.
Focus on having “Quality Content” on your site first. Explain what you, your business, or products can do to help your customers. Then apply the same concept when promoting your business, spread the word. Provide information, answer questions. Going to a blog or forum specific to your industry not to self promote, but to provide answers or help, then place a link. That will promote you or your business naturally (that’s the key) earn it the right way. Earn your rankings or business naturally.
