Maxbounty fraud and what to do about it

I can confirm that Maxbounty shaves a lot. I sent buyer traffic using Google ads in a past campaign and not a single sale, whereas I had sales for similar product from other network using similar buyer keywords. Maxbounty must be avoided like you avoid GoDaddy for hosting. That's my experience.

Not trying to defend Maxbounty here but this happens to some of my campaigns. However when I dig deeper I realize that the issue was cookie lost thus my sales was not credited properly and missing. This happens a lot of times when I use Google/ Bing/ Facebook/ iOS in app for advertising.
To solve this issue, use a tracker that allow you to hard code the tracking (cookieless tracking). This way your sales will be properly credited. Give it a try, you might suddenly have a better conversion rate and you might change your view about shaving from your CPA network.

The companies like MB shave leads and are prepared for lawsuits. I don't think they'll lower their guard for any reason.

Every offer on Maxbounty has a list of traffic sources they allow (contextual, search, social, etc). I've never seen word of mouth or in-person advertising listed on an offer as allowed.

So wouldn't OP's method of advertising not comply with the terms and conditions of promoting the offer and therefore they have the right to not pay out his leads? Even though I personally think they are legitimate leads.

OP sent leads through a website, which comes under SEO traffic source (or incentive traffic if he admits it himself).

You cannot do this setting with CPA network. Are you using a tracker? If you are, you can check with your tracker company how to setup a cookieless tracking. Example, on kintura, they have this setting below. If you don't have a tracker, try https://skro.eu/ the first 250k events are free. I won't recommend Kintura as they have a lot of issue with accuracy of tracking nowadays. Whereas Bemob does not seems to have cookieless tracking feature available.

Any of the following will redirect to the weighted (or intelligent) offer. By hardcoding the cid in your server-side language (in this case PHP), you can track with 100% reliability. These all do the same thing:
