How do you make money with AWS? And how do you get such a credit? Is this some kind of abuse?

You could sell the account. Unless you are looking to make back as much as credits are worth. Then selling it would be a bad return, as prices for those seem to be greatly reduced. I would offer to buy it, but you are too new and the AWS account marketplace is riddled with scams.

Yes, it's absolutely okay, I've myself rented servers from some eBay sellers lots of time, and they seem like they have no problem doing that long term...
