Hi, I'm starting a small web designing/development agency and looking for domains, I've found two available domains:
www.xxxx-xxxx .com
www.xxxxxx .org

What you guys suggest a domain with a hyphen + .com or .org?

Are hyphens and org really matters nowadays?

Bro. Buy a premium domain. Too many competition you need to stand out.

I know

yeah I wish I could afford it but they are quite expensive tbh

I'd go without the hyphen, buy personally I hate org domains..
would go for co or something, but it really doesn't matter.

The problem is `.org` for a web design agency looks pretty lame. A hyphen is somewhat okay, but still not the best. What about `.io` or `.net`?

Don't go .org for a web design agency.

If no available .com suits you, better go for .co or .net or something third, but .org is usually used for non-profits and similar organisations, not for an agency.

I've been checking other agencies name as well for the ideas and people are using weird(non niche related) names with hyphens with .com or .net but I did not come across any .org domain till now and yes I will surely check what other options are available like .net or .co etc.

As I've not registered a domain yet so still open to suggestions, Thank you for your support & ideas guys really appreciated.

I am in the same dilemma, the domain I want is up for sale in .com tld but rest tld are open to register. I have no clue what to do :-/. It was going to be brand name for my business.

Exactly facing this issue as well, if I go with hyphen then the same non hyphen domains are open and parked, some are not for sale and are really expensive

Btw if it's available in .com then you should get it without worrying about other TLDs

It’s up for sale as premium domain with XXXX$. I offered the seller around what I can pay to them. Just waiting for their response. Hoping the investment would be fruitful

If you want it for business, then you should go with .com in this case.

I'd also consider TLD's like .net, .dev. etc, but remember some customers can get it wrong sometimes and try to access .com version.

Purchased the domain from Dan.com for a whopping price hope that goes well ☘️
