If I post 10-20 good articles on a blogspot site, can I use it as a PBN? Will it push ranking up?

While it will provide SOME value, the whole point of using PBNs is that they will provide backlink power. Seeing how your blogspot blogs are new, there will not be much power available for you. It won't hurt either.

If I let the blogspots age for say 1 year, then?

It's not gonna help you at all. You can use them as tier 2's and 3's at least though.

It's not going to do big things unless you find good quality expired ones or attach good quality or at least semi good pbn links or guest posts to your web 2.0 or something else to boost it's strength overall.

PBN = Private Blog Network. How are properties (blogspot) owned by google private??

A blogspot link will count as a link at the end of the day (I think it's nofollow, though), but it won't do much because....

1) the root domain (blogspot) lacks topical authority (blogspot is not about cars only, or pets, or music, or whatever, it's a general website about everything, like quora, reddit, facebook, youtube, etc. So, it has no topical authority, which is very important nowadays);

2) it's a link from a web2.0 property (google had taken a crap onto web2.0s this year, so these links don't amount to too much lately)

3) like I said, it might be a nofollow link (I need to check this, but I'm too lazy and won't do it), and if you get 1 link, or 1,000,000 links and all of them are nofollow.... what's the point of even getting such links then?

If I were you I would just publish ONE article on blogspot so I can get the link for diversifying purposes and then move away from that thing and focus on something else (other web 2.0s since you're so interested in them)

Just confirming for everyone, they don't have to be nofollows
when adding a link it pops up this

I reckon a blogspot network would be decent, but you will be handling a shitton of gmails accounts to avoid footprints.
At the end of the day, it is not worth it.

If you can do this, then just go ahead and build it. they will help you somewhere definitely.

To boostup link power of your web2, you must build tier links.

You can stack the articles and blast GSA or other mass backlinks software.

You can use them as backlinks and they'll also help you gain authority. The most important factor is the authority & trust of these blogpost blogs. You should create Tier-2 backlinks to increase their authority, so that the link juice flows to your money site.

What if it is custom domain?
Why is it nofollow ? It is like just another blog.

why is who nofollow? The other guys confirmed that they're d0foll0w, so they're good backlinks then. But I still don't bother with them.. I mean, I'm not gonna build a "PBN" around blogspot blogs (I have aversion towards everything that google does, so the less google products and services I use the better)

And you want all the traffic from Google?

Relevance will be passed but very little juice and very little trust.

Boost will be minimal. Even if you let them age still not much better.

However, it is possible to get aged web 2.0 with links just like regular domains. You should consider that.

Blogsopt blogs can be deleted by Google anytime.
If u are planing to create a multiple blogs - make sure you use different accounts

Web 2.0 link farms are good for churn & burn projects, parasites, yt vids.
Aged Web 2.0 work better here.
These are called PBN but in reality they aren't private so neither they are PBN nor recommended for any serious project.

The whole idea of a PBN is a private link network that's hidden from public view & provides authority to your property.
If you really need value invest in your own private PBN.

What is the use of Web 2.0 link farms? to get bulk urls indexed or to boost ranking of a single keyword/domain?

If you have aged web2.0 it will help your parasites both in indexing as well as ranking.

Web 2.0 are not a ranking factor, rather good for diversity, if used on money sites.

According to John Mueller, "this kind of activity has zero value for SEO." -source

Granted, I'm sure we (SEOs) never follow half of the things he and Matt Cutts say not to do with your backlinks ;)

The best thing would be to TEST AND TRY IT for yourself. I find myself constantly testing different methods and strategies. This will make YOU a better SEO with definitive knowledge knowing what works and what doesn't for your projects. Best of luck!
