I've been reading a lot of threads on this forum for a while now, but I've come to ask you for the insights of the most knowledgeable SEOs.
I found a domain with good metrics but the problem is that it is inactive for a long time. I wanted to ask you if it was still interesting to recover it to create a blog on it.

i am also planning to buy universalmusicmagazine(dot)com and start music news

If the domain has good metrics and backlink profile, Surely you can recover it, but need to do proper on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
hi , can you do me a favour by checking and telling if universalmusicmagazine(dot)com has good stats or not

You should really think twice before posting the domain you want to buy in a public forum full of people that can snitch it if they have an idea it can fit in.

Expired domains can be recovered but auction domains are always best :)

In most cases, it makes sense to do a blog.
If you do not want to invest in content, restore the site and see if it will rank.

I would trust my experience and make a new blog.

if we restore content, what are odds to get into legal issues

if the backlinks are created in for example 2002 i don't think its worth.. backlinks needs to be fresh like in 2018 stuff.
it my suggestion..
