I have a variety of websites in different languages (French, German, etc)

I think Google Translate is not the best for content, therefore, it is why I believe my website's haven't been ranking that well.

Maybe Google's recent updates can tell if you're using Google Translate and they don't like that?

If I purchased a translation on Fiverr, it would be a minimum of $5 per a few hundred word Article, maybe that would be worth it to have better/readable content.

What do you think is better for SEO?

If you can afford to pay for translation, why not pay someone to write quality articles in your desired language?

I've been seeing some threads about using translated content and then spinning it. Have you heard if it is necessary to spin the content or make some manual improvements to the content once it is translated. I'm assuming Google doesn't trigger a plagiarism warning if the translation is done directly from their own Translation API from a website in another language that it has already indexed? I'm curious to know more about this strategy also.

i suggest you stick with google translate, mostly time he do a good job

After translation, you need to modify the content/edit for grammar and spelling mistakes. It shouldn't be just translated and published.

You can also use ai tools to write fresh content in many different langugaes.

Use the translation but you had to rewrite these translated content to have better readability and also worthy.
Simple translation alone won't help you.

Use Fiverr translations? For example, those $5 translate English to French services, instead of using Google Translate?

Are the websites making money ? If yes, reinvest the money to make more.

@AceCanoe Hey man, surely go by hiring fiver gigs offering translation if you want some actual to come to your site and read the content and take some actions. Or if the sites are just below tiered ones built for the pure SEO and link building purpose to pass link juices to your money site - then definitely go by Google translation way, albeit do a quick grammar and spelling check before posting.
