Hello,

I have a quick question, might be a dumb one, but I'm not familiar with domain names.

So let's assume I'm a marketing expert and live in Dubai, would it make sense if my domain was marketingexpertdubai.com.

Ok, maybe that's too long but I think it gives the idea, right?

Is anyone able to point me into the right direction please?

Peace!

Hi. There are plenty of domain and brand name generators out there. Just put your target keywords, shuffle them a bit and in an hour or 2 you will find something
good luck

Another way is to think of brandable domain like Marketingly.com but that's just an example. You got the idea though.

Domain name length more then 12 char starts getting too long.
You can always add marketing Dubai on home page and other page title to get the same seo effect instead of adding it to domain name.

It depends how you plan to drive traffic. Despite what people said the exact match domains are pretty good for ranking for targeted keywords, but the problem is that they tend to be long and hard to remember. So if you plan to attract clients by SEO mainly, go for exact match domain, but if you plan to run ads, use worth of mouth etc, its better to pick brandable name.

Exact match is good if available but personally I think it looks a little spammy sometimes, especially when they're pretty long.

However, I don't think it matters too much - build a brand, write relevant content and get relevant links.

Do you want to invest in domain names or just looking one for your brand or business.

Just thinking of the best way to name my business for best seo really.

Use sites like Namelix to generate fresh ideas
Try to keep it short.

First, your web site and service you provide makes your domain name popular.
Second, use .com extension for your domain.
Third, try to use short name, even irrelevant to your niche and to your best to make my #1 option happen (like apple did)
Good luck

After every single comment of yours, I am looking for the facepalm emoticon button, which is sadly, missing.
