Is this SEO pattern still active in 2021

I always dreaded SEO until I got Franklin Hatchet's info on affiliate marketing and when I tried out the techniques they worked out just fine and made me my first affiliate commission on Jvzoo.

It got me more and more interested in SEO but I dropped it to face some issues I had offline.

Now after about 9 months trying other different things also. I want to get back to SEO fully but I can't find where I can get Franklin Hatchet's updated info.

The method basically followed this pattern

* Social signals
* Blog comments
* Web 2.0

Then more advanced methods like guest posting and others which I can't quite remember now.

Just want to know what methods following a path works now in 2021.

You should actually stick to bhw guides and advice if you're just starting out,
there are plenty of fake gurus out there just promoting stuff to get paid off by selling a course, affiliate stuff, etc...
Just make sure to have & invest some testing projects, they'll get you plenty of experience and even can be pretty profitable

SEO concepts become outdated overtime. You can't follow the same methods that worked for you in the past. Check your competitors and see what's working for them. Read threads here to see what other SEOs are doing. That's the best way to get back to SEO game.
