Mobile proxy ROI?

question might be vague, but mobile proxies sell for around 50 usd/mth and I am wondering how much of you, that are buying them, see positive ROI (and what is it)?

I am trying to wrap my head around the fact that 4g proxies are easy to make and why would anyone buy them instead of just making them when needed?
What's the catch?

No idea, I make my own with a 4g router and 2 sims all you can eat for £18 each a month.. and like as many accounts as you want off them.
Although saying that I suppose if you had like 100 really good accounts and you wanted to make sure each got a new IP the 4g rotating proxies might be better.

There are not easy to make for everyone, and even for the people that can make it, you need to have access to mobile ISPs that provide quality (preference NAT) IPs. There are countries where IPs are abused af so...

Just to explain where I am coming from, phone farms, nowadays plateau at around ~20 USD per phone. Coincidentally or not, YT gives you around
0.07 cents per hour of content watched, which gives around 50 USDish per month if you used that phone for YT watching. These are all ballpark numbers, but
not far from the truth.

24 hour x 30 days would be detected, but something like 12 hours could pass under the radar, which gives again...around 20 USD per month.

Now, given all that, to me, providers know this as well and make their decision: "I can get 20 bucks for this phone, so if I sell for 50, I am making 100% profit".

That part is clear. What is unclear that someone comes and says, for any reason, I will buy mobile proxy for 50 bucks and earn money on it. Second part is
a mystery and more than that, ROI of such operation. The only thing that comes to my mind are IG/FB/Tiktok profiles that are generating
much more money than the price of renting a mobile ip.

4G proxies aren't really that easy to make, it requires a lot of patience + technical knowledge to get them working with minimum flaws.

Actually, it could be hard, no doubt about it, but once you make it on your own or following instructions, it boils down to copy / paste.
