Today i found a strange website full of inaccurate text but getting a lot of visits when putting the url on similarweb.
sound strange but whole website text is kind not written to be read by human , i mean it's not comprehensible, i put some article on plagiarism checker and found that the whole article came from different website, to be clear every paragraph is copied from a website but article subjet is the same.

For example if i take as a sample "how to canning tomatoes", whole article is composed of many paraghraph copied from many website talking about the tomatoes canning subject.

from similarweb this website get:
june 78,8k visits
july 178,5k visits
august 297,9k visits

i don't know if its allowed to post this website link or not, but i really want to learn this method it use adsense as monetisation.

update: this website use 2 adsense pub-id

any help will be appreciated.

1) Congratulations for not outing the site url

2) Threy're using the kind of SEO that works.

Study their method, take a close look at their source code, site speed, kw density and how they structured their link silo..

3) Do better and profit.

Dont post the url, its the site of a member of BHW. He had a journey before some months about this. Do your searches if you are interested. Peace

It looks like an automated website. These sites work mostly because they cover a lot of longtail keywords at once. But they are not viable in the long-term. You can study them if you're planning to replicate their success.

I think those site will affect any upcoming update. It seems that contents are spun with good keyword. More over, it leads to dramatic dip in upcoming days

The site probably covers lots of topics in the niche and also has the right kind of optimization as well as links.

Also, for having 'inaccurate' text the website is probably owned/run by a non-English speaker so they likely write and translate from their local language to English or something similar. That's why you have disjointed sentences that are not exactly correct. That shows you that Google doesn't really understand the content of a webpage the way humans do.

With the right amount of keywords and optimization any site no matter how bad the grammar of writer is, would still rank high and amass traffic.

UPDATE: this website is based on H2 html tag, every article got a dozen of H2 subtitle in form of question as

How .... ?
Why ....?
Do ....?

  • All subtitle has the same subject keyword and article are over 1000 keywords
  • 100% traffic is from seo
  • He got 4 other websites using the same technique but with less traffic (got them using alexa)
  • H2 header are copied exactly from other websites (websites with normal article i mean human readable article)
  • Paragraph are also copied from other website but doesn't match the h2 header
  • Some paragraph are human readable other are very strange (for example it contain article date, author name and sometime advertisement text that some website put over adsense ads )

Most probably autoblogs
They use bots to scrape relevant content from SERPs

Thats because the content is scraped and the articles are auto generated. Nothing new here.

P.s: Good call on not outing the site's url.

It's an auto blog,
there are plenty of spam websites ranking there for ages and some people banking really hard with this,
just any other kind of website, you'll need to invest if you want things to work,
that means if you slap a new website with a brand new domain with a ton of such content and wait for good results it has much fewer chances to do so,
but, if you get a good expired domain, warm it up with some good content and let it rank for a while before starting the auto blog, it gonna work like a charm

You can skip the "warm up with good content" part for sure.
