I am from the country from which I have to pay a lot for customs' fees, therefore my collection is humble, but I am proud of it.
My first pair of sneakers (that I bought myself (I am 20 yo)) is Air Force 1 High Just Don (the best AF1 shoe you can buy, period)
After that I bought Jordan Retro 3 Pure White
Next I got 2 pairs of classic black Vans, just for the fuck of it
'Newest' (it was long time ago tbh) pair is Jordan 5 PSG
Between all of that I got 2 pairs of boots/sneakers - Lunar Force 1 Duckboot Metallic Gold & Lunar Force 1 Duckboot Black
That's it. I am looking to buy Jordan 5 PSG soon, I really like Jordan x PSG collab and I still have no Jordan 1s

I literally live in the middle of nowhere, there are no Indian markets, like 4 restaurants, there's not even a Korean market. I think our grocery store has one aisle that's dedicated to some Chinese spices if that counts
. We do have 2-3 Philipino families in the area, so I guess that counts right? . Chinese food is very different from Indians food overall.
Don't try fake Indian food always get food made by natives it's always better sometimes other people try and make Indian food it's never as good overall.

These were so nice when they came out. I got the oreo ones, still wear them today especially when I work out. They are truly the most comfortable things I have ever worn.Not anymore. I've bought Yeezy Beluga v1.0's before (like 5 year sago) for resell price as I really love those (Was like $850 including import tax..), that I still wear on holidays and more exclusive events. Bought those as some sort of reward for me as a project went very succesful that I worked on for a very long time.
But I don't spend a lot of money on clothes anymore as I am now old enough to understand that there are more important stuff to save money for.
Wearing my Vans almost every day.
I don't place a lot of value on brands, but I do place a lot of value on design or comfort. And Yeezys are SO comfortable I love them. In my opinion, totally worth the money based on comfort.

I wanted everything as a kid because we were poor but somehow still happier.
I had a solid collection of AND1 shoes.
They were expensive, especially for us here (Balkan), fu**ng wars, sanctions...
I remember when AND1 Mixtape started, I would sit at the computer and watch all day, then again and again and again.

I basically started trying to make money as a kid online to fund the purchase of sneakers (mainly) amongst other clothing items.
I have a huge collection, but I quickly realised it was a pointless endeavour when I started to travel.
Firstly you can only take so many pairs with you, next, I was a super bitch and I was worried about them creasing and such in transit. Then even when I wasn't travelling I would only wear certain pairs if the weather permitted. Living in the UK this was a kind of pointless thing. All whilst worrying about creases and such.
I got to the point where my collection was in the hundreds, yet I was rotating between three pairs of "daily drivers" which left the rest of my "collection" in their boxes sitting around my house.
Now, I don't even wear any of them. I simply buy trainers that are either all completely white or black. Typically I just wear all black airman these days.
Over the years I have wasted an insane amount of money on clothing/shoes. It starts with normal stuff, then you progress into buying the luxury brands.
Presently I haven't purchased any clothing or shoes for 8 months. I have other vices which have filled the void, but luckily I still have a wardrobe fully stacked with clothing and shoes even though these days I like and wear simply all black outfits with minimal or no logo at all.
Looking back I kind of regret the whole thing, but you live and learn I guess.

Well, it depends on what shoes we are talking about.
My basketball shoes cost 250-300$ (they last 2-3 years) - cheaper ones are fucked up in a matter of months and those protect my ankles FAR better
Everyday Snickers I don't care about that much - 20-60$ - Last around a year or so
Running shoes - 25$ from Amazon last 1-2 years
Loafers for the summer with my shirts - I Like "swims" so around $150 ( I have bought 3 in the last 3 years and all are intact )
For the winter I have one pair that costs around 300$ ( I bought them 4 years ago ) they still look like new as I wear them 5 time a year.

All in all I`ll say last 5 years I have spent around 2000$ on shoes. I guess 400$ a year is not that much

I communicate with a lot of American people my age because of work (21 y.o) . Idk if it's a trend there but they are all obsessed with shoes and keep buying new pairs over and over again. Not that common where I come from
