You know what : I remember that page. I visited that thing at some point. Back then I couldn't give a flying shit about Bitcoin and thought it was retarded.
Which got me thinking how things have changed. A lot.
The overall environment 10 to 11 years ago was completely different from today.
Back then printing money nonstop was considered lunacy. Now it's the new normal.
Back then markets dropped a lot, didn't just go up always. There was "truer capitalism". Now it's all kinda ... weird.... feels fake, kinda like modern Formula 1.
Life in general was way different just 10 years ago. Way, way different. It's not the pandemic (sure the virus drove millions crazy no question about that), it's something else. Perhaps the generational shift. Younger people online think completely different from us.
I love fooling around with cryptos and stuff but I still think it's all childish as fuck TBH. The memes, the idiocy behind some predictions, I mean you just gotta multiply some numbers and see there isn't even enough dollars or euros for some of those predictions.
It's a different world out there.
So. One day, a web page gave away 5 Bitcoin to each visitor. And I visited that page and couldn't move a finger to submit that form. Crazy.
(BTW that page is now a not-so-secret JrVIP feature on BHW and it's been renamed to Papal Monke Gen 2021)
