Lately I've been investing a lot in learning how to optimally use SEM Rush for my SEO effors. What I did not do is try to learn how to use Ahrefs, MOZ or basically any other software.

There is so much functionality in SEM that it makes me wonder - why would anyone use more than just that?

So I thought - Hey, why not asking the community of experts? :)

What are you using more than one software for, and how?

Ahrefs usually shows more backlinks than the other tools

All of them fall into almost the same category of SEO tools so once you master one, it shouldn't be too difficult to learn the others.
Get started but always keep exploring, you never know the next tool could be way more useful and bring better results for your websites.

It´s always nice to have a different perspective about something.

You can run an audit using all the SEO tools on the market and most likely they will have slightly (or sometimes a lot) different results. Also, UIs and pricing make it appealing for someone to have more than just one tool.

For example, for technical audits, I prefer Sitebulb to SEMRush or Ahrefs but for conducting a backlink profile analysis I prefer Ahrefs to SEMRush.

It really depends on what you want to focus on, what are your needs and requirements, and what your budget is.

Ultimately, you can´t go wrong with using just SEMRush so you´re good!

`The word "software" is used by 50+ old. It is called APP now. And no, there is no single app to satisfy you. You need to analyze and read between the lines.

BTW, this is advertising for semrush and should be banned here.

I heard no complaints for calling my software company's product, DSM Tool, a dropshipping "software" instead of a dropshipping app, they happily, all together, paid millions of dollars for only a "software".

BTW a SaaS would be an even more accurate way to put it

You can say the same about every single post in the SEO tools forum, what's the point banning a discussion about tools we all use? I have no relation to any of the software companies that were mentioned here nor anyone in this thread used affiliate links to promote anything.

It's just a discussion to help me and others who will search the topic get better at our marketing efforts, it should be encouraged not banned

I wish you all the best, so you are one of the few who were lucky to sell a startup to a big investor. I wish you the best and you were really lucky, only a few will be able to attract the attention of an investor and sell a startup and make millions.

smmfansfast, you are not allowed to advertise a service here above, you will be banned

Thank you, I also had a lot of luck to come up with the right thing at the right time, I am very grateful for that.
All the best to you as well

haha... seriously?
I have become a member of BHW only recently, a SaaS business needs as much attention to its marketing efforts as any other business, I'm trying to learn here how to make X10 in the next few years.

What happened to you?

OP, ahrefs backlink data are on point so users prefer ahref for backlink audits

I'm 41 years old, not 50+ and I call it software because it's a software, not an app. You can f*ck off with your retarded, new (de)generation of terms and labels
