How do i monetize image hosting?

I have plans to make image hosting in the future. I need advice on how to monitize image hosting!

How do sites like imgbox.com monetize their sites?

IMO ,Image hosting has to be started only if you have lots of money to lose or a backup server which you are ready to use for another 1-2 years to gain popularity for the first few years its difficult to run once we have enough traffic easy to monetize.plus if someone can shed light on how to monetize if they embed the image in their board/site

I know imgbb using some hidden interface from those big public site such as twitter and facebook ...... or even google, so they can storage those images for free...
Don't know how they do it but thats crazy...

No the problem is if they use the direct hotlink and client wont even visit the host site ,that will be a pain in the alphs
