Indian audience on YouTube

Hello,

I have a channel on YouTube and its completely in english language. Im from europe and my videos have no links to India at all. My question is, why do I have 17% Indian views and only 10% from USA ? My goal is to have more viewers from the west because the CPM is higher if the views come from the west. What can be done? Is there even anything I can do to lower the views from india and grow more from USA views ?

Impossible to say without knowing what your videos are about. It’s likely that your content has a niche audience in India too.

It’s also equally impossible to avoid one of the largest English speaking countries from your stats when you’re uploading videos in english.

I think because of your suggestion , your video source comes from other countries instead of the US . You should try initial marketing to US or Indian sites, groups

English is spoken everywhere today, so it's no wonder.

If you make English videos, traffic from India is inevitable. If you want traffic from USA, then you should focus on their interests or conflicts depending on your niche.

Make your videos unavailable in India and other countries that you don't want any views from.
