Making a droid run and dance is far far away from making it do anything feasible...

He explained the robot will be able to do lots of physical taks. So it isn't just a toy that dances. It's built to eliminate repetitive, boring tasks. This thing will be able to eliminate most low skill jobs.
Maybe you need to reward him with better treats?

it's marketing from the point of view that a humanoid form is a lot less efficient/trustable for most menial tasks. but machines taking away most manual jobs is gonna happen.
