talk about your own products if helpfull should be allowed

Dear Moderators

I love this forum and been a member since year's. Didn't participate before as was very bussy with things not related to things that may interest readers here.

I for sure agree that spam your product on every thread is bad for the forum... And Spam mean unwanted not related information on a thread and that is bad

But I also think that not been able to answer a question of one user, just because you own the product that may solve his problem is not, is not really helpfull for the user who ask, and many that may read later. And for sure is not spam.

And I also think that It is fair that advertising must be paid... And this is what I'm doing. My banner campaign is scheduled for September, and few threads for different products will also come soon...

But in the mean time, I'm not spamming my product... I'm trying to be helpful to the community answering question when I have the knowledge and experience to do it... And that is also content that you are monetizing right?

You can check all my posts and see it for yourself... So please don't delete my posts just because the answer is related to one of my different products if it is not spam... as I feel gagged...

And that is not good for the forum when you only want to help...most if you see that the question remains unanswered or the user is been missinformed and you can't do anything to help.

Put your product in your signature according the forum rules and just help people in general or related to your niche.
This is the way to do it and it is allowed - if you are helpful it will convert.

What @organicpanel said is correct. You are allowed to have your product or service in your signature as a means of promotion on the forum.

However, the post you were warned for that prompted you to post this thread was fairly given. The person you responded to was not soliciting services, so the promotion was unwarranted.

There are ways to help members on the forum other than promoting your own products or services. If you want to promote your service around the forum, having it in your signature as you do is fine, but you cannot directly advertise your product to a member unless it is solicited. You can always offer your services in the WTB/HAF section as another option.

You don't appear to be spamming your product, but regardless, any promotion of your services outside of the rules is not permitted. The moderators will always do their part and enforce the rules of BHW. I'm sorry if this makes you feel gagged, but we can't make exceptions to the rules for any members.
