Hey guys, my question is it better to manually make a list of citation sites and do them yourself or to hit up fivver and get it done? I wasn't sure if a burst of correct/updated citations would affect the rankings compared to slowly doing them. Thanks!

Local citations actually require geolocation from phones / etc.

Small chance you'd be able to achieve anything significant using fiverr.

You mean like Google map or something?
local directories but yes Google Maps would count as one but things like foursquare, yellowpages, yelp. There's also services like yext, brightlocal, and moz local that offer them to check/update it but charge monthly.

If you want to have everything to be under your control - start by your own. Once you are sure that everything is going fine - hire someone for this to be done.

The main reason I would outsource is I find this the most boring thing to do SEO wise but for Fiverr becareful many useless people at work on that site .

Alright thanks, guys, I knew fiverr was terrible before but I have assumed it might have gotten better. I might look into keep doing it manual and see how it goes
