Understand who you are buying from.
It does not matter whether they are a Jr Member or a Jr VIP even at Jr Exec, Exec or Mod Level.
Even at Mod Level, they can't sell so you should be reporting them if they are breaking the rules
Ask yourself the following questions
- Are they Black Members? Yes? Report them
- Did they message you out of random? Yes? Report them
- Do their profile look dodgy, upgraded member right away, no-one knew where they came from? Be careful then, might consider to stay away
Do your research
Ask yourself the following questions and understand the following
Google their details (Email, Username, skype, etc)
Does it look too good to be true? If yes, more than likely it is
Look in the Shitlist section, find if they have any shitlist in the past or present?
How long have they been around?
How long have they been selling their service
Has anyone recommended them ever on the forum? (I am talking about recommendations here, not affiliate or paid promotions)
Are they selling elsewhere (not on the forum)? Find the place, and look at the reviews, comments, complaints there too.
Talk to the seller, ask questions, ask a shit loads of questions.
Read reviews, reviews should always be "real", however, that doesn't mean you should just blindly trust whatever it has been said.
Take it into consideration. Does the reviews match to what everyone says? Does it match to what the mods say?
Look for any "previous conflicts" in the thread. Why? because, the seller should always defend himself in a professional matter.
When I say defend, I am not talking about them offering hush money, I am talking about how they went to resolve the issue.
Do you know who has recently brought it?
Is that person "reputable" or "questionable"
If they are reputable, have a talk to that person too, chances are, they will tell you
"hey Remi, that seller was great" or they just say it's trash you never know
Are they active in the forum? Or are they just in their own BST only
Communication
Is the seller pushy?
Do they take ages (weeks) to reply back to you? and act nonchalantly and without a reason for the delay?
I don't expect everyone to be on the forum 24/7, but if a seller has a BST, they are required to maintain it.
If you ask them a question on abc, and instead of answering abc, do they push a service on them?
If yes, do you really want to get in person with someone who can't evne answer your questions?
You would not believe how many people I didnt buy from simply because of this.
I completely understand English is not everyone's first Language, (It isn't mine either)
However, communication is key. Understanding your buyer/seller is very important.
There is absolutely no shame in asking someone to rephrase their question if you do not understand it.
Lastly, every conversation should be recorded/screenshotted and such if you are in doubt or concerned
If you are able to do it directly in BHW's PMs. That's always recommended. (They can't "alter, modify or delete" evidence and such later on for a shitlist)
