how to make [email protected]?

I'm about to buy a host+domain and I always wondered... lets say your site is YourDomain.Com, and you want to go all professional and all that and want to make [email protected]

Who do you contact? Your hosting? Or your domain?
Also, does it come with every package or no?

I'm thinking of going Gator hosting since my methods are all whitehat 100%

it comes with every package at hostgator and I think every webhosting company. You can create your own personalized email account.

You can also contact their live support to help you out

Let's say I have

etc, etc, etc

Is there a way to make it so when people email to info/sales/[email protected], ALL the emails will transfer to [email protected]?

So it'll say to what email it was sent, and from who, with the message, etc?

oh and and is possible to make [email protected] as an MSN login? and Facebook?

you can do that thru email forwarding which you can access on your cpanel.

I'm not sure if it can be used to log in at MSN and facebook, but I think its possible

For MSN you just go to passport.com and register with any e-mail address.
They then send you a verification mail to the e-mail address specified and you're all set.

once you get your hosting account and go to the email section, you will see it is easy and you can do whatever you want with those emails.

for instance, i took several domains, added them to a hosting account, setup [email protected] email addresses, had them forward to a single gmail account, and created some twitter accounts with each of the emails. all the activation emails went to one account for easy activation and all was gravy.


don't know how twitter rolls now as I haven't made accounts en masse there in almost a year, but I still do this if I want to create different accounts and have one gmail to play with them in.


i don't see why you wouldn't be able to get a fb or msn account with them either.

thats what I also do as what shylesson explained. my only problem is that when I need to reply to someone, is there a way to use the [email protected] as the sender when you reply using your gmail account?
