EZOIC 2nd chance a total fail.

About 2 years ago I tried Ezoic wqith my main site, big mistake, that process to use them implies moving DNS and then getting approved. This took over 10 days and i lost lots of revenue due to it.

This past week i decided to give them a second chance but instead of using my main site, I used the site that earns the least, about $5.20 per day

Well, it's been about 8 days now since I did the setup, DNS and ad tester, all of their requirements, and my site has not been approved. all those days lost with now money from that site.

Ezoic takes days for approval now and some certification tests as well. But they will surely approve you.

If you had a website last year, there will be a dedicated manager assigned to you, drop him/her an email and you will be good to go. I personally did that for my seconds site and it was up and running from day 2.

I decided to contact my manager on ezoic and we got it to work.

Well after a couple of days of back and ford with emails we managed to set it up, I had to redo the adsense link, the adstxtmanager, for some reason both of them were not showing up on their system, also they asked to disable my ssl and disable my www to nonwww redirect, that was causing issues, once that was resolved I used elementor tools to change the links from https://www to https:// on the whole database.

That seem to have done it

A few hours after that, ads started showing up on my site.

This is a test I am doing, using my least earning site and will post later on what the differences are from switching from Adsense to Ezoic.

This is a new site were I was making on average $5.73 per day, so we will see in a month from now what the change to Ezoic brings ;-)

I will post here an update as soon as I see more traffic coming through the site, as of now, it's the first day on ezoic and I am anxious to see if there is a significant difference on payout.

The site history that I am switching to Ezoic it's been up for a little over a year, this is the site analytic's history.

the page rpm looks killer bro I also get around 15-20 for my site and around 4k page views a month.
I have also been testing ezoic on another 1-year-old domain and it was growing well before ezoic and after ads, it became super slow and stopped all rankings I have turned off ads for most of the pages now let's see if it helps in ranking again. Once I get enough traffic I will start testing ezoic ads.

Why your website became slow? Is it because you moved to their DNS or adding multiple ads? Specifically what's making your site slow?

too many ads on the site and page speed went to 5-8 seconds and I lost my growth. I am to remove all ezoic as i don't have much traffic but i wanted to check EPMV do i tested.

Hi friends, so after just a few days on Ezoic, I can see a big change on revenue while using Ezoic, and IT SUCKS

Like I mentioned before, I was making about $5.70 per day with Adsense alone, with a monthly RPM of $65.

I know it's been just a few days, but shouldn't I be getting at least what I was getting with adsense?
some may say, let their system learn my traffic and learn ad placing blah blah blah, but I disagree with that. If they are supposed to "increase" my earnings and I have the same ad placings and even more, then I should be getting at least the $5.70 per day I was getting before.

This is a learning experience for me, leaning that sometimes it's better to stick with what we know than to get FOMO, the good thing is that I am doing this on my new site and not my most profitable website.

Like I said before, I will continue to test this for a whole month, then I will switch back to Adsense. I don't really think that Ezoic will workout for me, but I will try for a bit to see what happends at the end.

And yes, my website is freaking slow now, even on the wordpress dashboard, i'ts like if everything goes thought their servers, even while you are in the backend.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EZOIC as of now, maybe time will change my mind

UPDATE TIME.

I got an email from my Ezoic manager than my website has a redirect and that their SSL is not working anymore, as for that my site is not displaying any ads AKA no revenue for today either.
and yes, I do have a redirect from www to nonwww, how can this disable ads? so freaking uptight !

Also their analytics system doesn't even see when someone visits your site, I did a test, I loggen into one of my clients pc and checked the website, browsed a few pages while on my local pc I was checking the real time analytics from Ezoic, and nope.... nothing shows that I even crawled my own site from a different IP.

I am really done with them, my site is loosing traffic due to slowness caused by their system, I did a Site Audit with SEMRUSH today and now I have 40 errors, 72 warning, and 242 notices, all due to slow site, slow pages and unable to crawl, meaning my site even goes down sometimes. FYI Before ezoic my site had no issues, it loaded in under a sec on the homepage.

So tonight I will be removing Ezoic and switching back to the old good and lovely google adsense, If I wasn't loosing traffic i would stay and test them a bit longer, but since my traffic is going down and my site is super slow now I have no choice to move back.

Let this be a lesson learn for me, if the wheel is not broken, don't fix it! LOL

I was also thinking about moving my main site to MediaVine since I have over 100k pageviews per month, but forget it, I can only imagine loosing months of progress due to a bad service or slow networks.

I'll post next week after I go back to adsense to see if it changes back to making some real pesos.

I did the cloudflare integration, everything everyone recommended, I didn’t use Wordpress plug-in, I did the ad tester

I do my own ad placing with Adsense, and I did enable AI placeholders on Ezoic try to test their “best settings”

anyways, I switched back to just Adsense, removed cloudflare integration and immediately my site worked faster, ads show and I made $3 last night alone, will post and update sometime today.
