Hi guys, I'm looking for ways to monetize my photos. I tried stock photo sites before and was not satisfied with the result. I wonder if anyone has experience with monetizing their photos? thanks in advance

Did you try building an audience on Social media and then selling images by redirecting followers & buyers on your website?

Depends on what kind of photos they are. If they're risqué photos.. onlyfans or similar services. You'd only have a chance if you're a woman, by the way

Ya you need to tell us what kind of photos you are selling?

Are you a hot naked chick?
Or do you take beautiful city scape pictures?

There is a big difference on how to market those types of fotos...

I usually take travel, animal, flowers photos. Thank you.

Well that throws out only fans!
Build a website were people can buy your photos, have an ebay and amazon store, do all of the social medial.

Facebook, instagram, twitter pintrest ect...

Photography is a very competitive business, if your pictures are not amongst the best you will not make a single penny out of them.

Even well known photographers struggle to sell prints

You can create a portfolio on websites like iStock, Fotolia or other websites. They offer a certain percentage of the sales to the contributor.

Here's exactly what you do:
1. Upload them to every stock photo site.
2. Vectorize your photos, upload them to vector graphic sites.
3. POD all your photos by adding sayings or other graphics on top of the pictures.
4. Email every site you can offering your photos for a fee.
5. Upload all your photos to Instagram/Pinterest and direct them to your #1, #2, #3
6. Go download as many CC0 web templates (html, WordPress, Shopify, etc) add your pictures, then charge for the template by listing them for sale to all the online website template markets you can.

Point is just package them in new ways and directly approach site owners via email to see if their interested.

Stock photography is a numbers game.
I probably have 6,000-7,000 images up on stock sites, about 20 of them are my top sellers, no rhyme or reason.
The more photos up, the longer they are up, the better the keywords. You’ll start finding gold.

You can get them licensed. Another option would be to put water marks on your images and put it out on the Internet with the hopes people will use them without your permission on their websites. Then you go and send them a letter from your attorney for a $x,xxx amount for using it without your permission or go to court

Create a video compilation of your photos and upload them to youtube content ID. Then post the photos on facebook groups for exposure. The quality of your photos matters.

there are some apps that pay you per photo

If it is what I think it is, then OnlyFans, Patreon, and Gumroad are your best bets. You can also create a site of your own and set up everything manually. Then lock the images behind a paywall or use tons of ads.
