How these guys got verified?

Hey guys,
please have a look at those 2 accounts:

https://www.instagram.com/joel_lopez_pissano19/

Both of them are verified, but are just reposting the pictures of another account and botting engagement. In their comment section are other suspicious verified accounts aswell.
One of the accounts seem to be created just a few weeks ago, the other one is older.

They are part of a network of accounts that are posting loads of: "I love your content, hit me up in dm for monetization" on several niches, i found them commenting on 2 of my accounts in music & girls niche.

How do you think those accs got verified?
I always thought the verification process was manual, but I'm not sure anymore after seeing an increase of shitty verified accs in the last time...
I'm currently trying to get my first music artist account verified by newspaper articles and creating & reporting impersonating accounts, but haven't succeded so far...

Maybe some of you with more insights on the verification process can give me an opinnion on this?

Yeah i thought so aswell at first, but the account @davidtoroca/ seems to be created just a few weeks ago when i look at the posts where he's tagged, so i think theres more to it than just hacking

He could've removed all the tagged posts and reset it. 99% of accounts like these are hacked. I doubt these ones are any different..

Ok valid. Do you know how they are hacked, like what are these guys currently doing to get the account data? Pishing E-Mail, hacking the pc via download, or what method are they using? I have 1 high quality account that I need to keep safe at all costs

I would assume it's acquired mostly from phishing. But I'm no hacker :') so I don't really know

Google "hack instagram accounts"
You'll find plenty software alternatives to do so.
