I'm sure I can't be the only one on here who thinks NFT and all of these NFT based tokens are just a massive bubble waiting to burst. When you have random social media influencers and celebrities making thousands of dollars doing nothing but selling an image or some shit like that, to me that's just a massive red flag

CyberPunks, FuckCats, ApeBorgs, MonekyTrucks, you name it, a bunch of shitty low-quality pixelated artworks have been created and sold.

What annoys me the most are some of the low-quality artworks that are coming out and being market as 'collectibles' and one of a kind. The funny thing is that
some of these pieces just keep getting bought and sold very frequently driving up the prices for each new owners. All these NFTs seem like they are in a bubble right now to me. Crazy to think that the cheapest CryptoPunks costs around 100k atm.

What do you guys think?

Recently I read a story about 12yo kid that made a fortune selling some low quality pixelated NFTs which was crazy to me but it turned out that his dad secretly bought most of them. That got me to thinking that NFTS are perfect way to launder money. So I think even if that bubble pop people are still gonna use it for money laundering.

Woah, it's almost like people could create abstract prices for things in the physical world and use that fabricated price to launder money

Oh wait....

Yeah but with nfts there aren't a lot of regulations and you are anonymous so its much easier than with real art.

Yeah exactly. I wasn't disagreeing with you btw.

Also, people do this all the time with houses, where they will get some ridiculous quote on a house and sell it to their buddy.

It's crazy.

But the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen with this nft bs was when twitter ceo sold his first tweet for $3m. Like someone bought a tweet and now he's the owner. WTF
I can't even think what will be the future of nfts..

Yeah, that was crazy.
Honestly Idk why Amazon didn't do it to fund the space program. They were selling seats to raise money - selling some picture from the "first" flight would probably have generated a lot of revenue.

Depends on how innovative you can take an NFT.
Sure, the bubble will burst on NFT crap with no real value just like the shitcoins.

Many are being sold for price they do not justify. Some buy to resell, it will not end good for the people joining at last.

NFT will not die, it will evolve with new utility. Just check my favorite project to shill, Cargox CXO , in this case, NFTs (Bills of Lading, mandatory phase in Egypt from 1st October for Cargox) are docs and not kiddy drawings. I'm sure that others will find and use Nfts for other real use cases in future

I bet someone from the 1800's is still waiting for old paintings bubble to burst LOL

Art valuation is crazy and always has been.

Yeah the nft marketplace is crazy overpriced
