Help please

Hey guys. I know this is a bit of a long shot, but hey...

Is there any way to trick my network provider that I'm in my home country? Rather than outside it? Maybe for a week or so?

I've been out of England for the last year or so, and all my roaming is going to go within a month if I don't visit England. Yes, I know I should be grateful I've had it for this long. I am. I just CBA with the hassle of cancelling this contract, getting a new one, etc.

If anyone can help, that's great.

pretty much impossible

i am on AT&T, funny thing is that when I cross the border to canada, within 10 feet, my phone jumps on a Canadian network.

If this can't be done, does anyone have suggestions on what to do for people who travel?

I don't want to change my number (want my UK one). And I don't want to keep getting new sims/ local numbers.

Pretty sure you can port your number across to a network in the country you are currently staying.

if you want to keep your number and not going to be back in your home country, how about porting your number to google voice and once you get to your home country, port it back to your local provider
