Hi,

Are high DA website profiles good with your url in it?
or does it not do anything?
Example 87 DA profile website: https://speakerdeck.com/

Looking forward for some replies :)

they won't rank you for most keywords, but they're still worth getting, just to diversify your backlinking profile. And I definitely would not bother with 10-20 such backlinks. If you absolutely must get them pay someone $30-40 to build 100, or 200 of these for you instead of building 10 of them manually that won't do anything.

But in the beginning (when you have very few or no backlinks and your backlinking profile is clear of any spam), it's better to just get quality backlinks (PBNs if you have a good network of PBNs, or guest posts if you have the budget for quality guest posts and your site is good enough for people to want to link to it)

Not something that you should rely on for ranking,
Profile links do usually handle little to no link juice since they're standalone pages with no internal links or content,
They could be very useful as tier 2 links tho

^^^ this exactly. only thing i would add to this is when you do get the 100+ or so, if new site, or really any site. try and drip them over 2-3 week period

like others have said: don't expect a result from this

one thing to note: most profiles links are being tagged with no-index.... so check that before you venture down this road.

I would agree with everyone here overall it's just good to diversify links building most profile links not do much to improve your rankings in most cases unless you go to the right sites most don't go too.

yeah, I forgot about drip-feeding (very important indeed). Thanks for adding that in :)

You can build a few profile links to hide the paid links in your link profile. You can't get significant link juice or rank boost from these links. They don't even improve your metrics much. So, it's better to get high quality links instead of getting a ton of these links.

yes profile link with no index is a waste, unless you expect a traffic from that link.

Use them as tier 2 or build them as tier 1 for link diversity but remember to make them index

Thank you all so much for the amazing insights! Just as a extra; all the profile links i was looking at are follow.

For my website i was going to go with T-Ranks PBN (start slow with 5 links and build it up)

Also for good quality guest posts do you have any recommendations?

KD are < 35 (according to ubersuggest, Ahrefs puts some of my keywords higher for some reason i do not know. 1 keyword i checked in ubersuggest was 15 KD and in Ahrefs 67...??)

Ubersuggest is not the best tool in fact.

And dont look do much on metrics from those tools.

if you are going with T ranks from @tiiberius - i highly suggest to get his advice on what to include or not include in your backlinks. most of these pro's suggest not to do anything other than their PBNs so that you both can see the result and fine tune the backlinks. you mixing other backlinks will make both of your jobs harder. listen to the pros (@tiiberius )

p.s. disclaimer: I carry his banner in my signature! do believe in his approach and solution !!!
