Getting a Virtual Assistant

Hello fellow BHW members. I was thinking of hiring a VA to help me with some of my workload.

For those of you who hire VAs, where do you usually get them(fiverr, upwork, bhw marketplace), how much do you pay them, and what type of responsibilities/tasks do you give them?

Can you share an example of a type of job you had a VA do for you and how much you paid?

Hired from a agency here in the Marketplace, paid $100 for 40 hours I believe. Had them do manual link building like web 2.0s and such. Ended up doing another business model but didn't have an issue with the VA

I normally hire friends for where most of mine come from or friends of friends good as well normally.

It really depends on what I need done for what I get them to do for example I had before really cool Indian V.A who was intelligent he could do most things SEO or website designing or graphic designing such as he did for me

I got my most recent from a Philippine website recommendation.

I have a research spreadsheet that I spend time planning for the next 5 years worth of sites, and I have them writing articles for each of those domain subjects at any time.
In between that, I interrupt them with social media stuff, simple artwork tasks, ai writing overview, and news posts on sites.

If you have a plan in place for what sites and projects you have for the next few years, you will have no problem creating a regular schedule with a reliable VA, and giving them enough content to stay ahead of your publishing commitments.

Thank you for your reply. I was interested in stuff like curating AI generated posts and maybe uploading to wordpress/keyword research(based on a guideline I would give)/ and local seo setup citations.

In terms of ai writing overview, do you have him proofread and check the accuracy of the content generated by the AI? If so, how much does your VA usually charge for that?
