Hello,

I saw this cp not updating like others and found lot of security issues since the first month of this year. I want to try another control panel.

I found that AApanel and cyberpanel good as a free option. And I see ispmanager is also cheap and affordable.

I need a good panel with good security. Any ideas and tell me your honest suggestions .

Thanks,

Go for aapanel. Its the best of them all most especially if you want a free option.

If you want to go for paid option then go for directadmin personal plan which costs 2$ per month.

Free alternative would be hestiacp. Its a fork of vestacp managed by a different team of developers

AApanel works great, but there is a fork of vestacp i dont remember the name correctly but that is updated.

AApanel is on my list. Do you have any idea about the isp manager? It's paid one but didn't see any suggestion of it.

aapanel is my choice. It is free, security and releasing continuous updates. also it have forum. anyone can use to forum to solve problems. :)

I think aapanel is the one for me. I will try it for sure!
Because directadmin is among top three panels ( cpanel, plesk and directadmin).
Oh, I thought you are using it and seeing good features than others. anyway, thanks for the suggestion I will take a look at it too.

Noted!

Why do you think it's better than other free panels? I just wanna know your idea. :)
I have used it personally and it's very close to cpanel. I think it's the best choice for paid panels atm. I specially like there personal plan which costs like 2$ for 10 domains or something. If you have a budget go for directadmin. There are many free alternatives as well like mentioned in this thread.

Sure i'm using directadmin for 10+ years.

Tried many free and paid panels too, but for 40+sites directadmin is best option for me.

Great to know. I will give it a try. Thank you.

Based on my knowledge in hosting industry, I would suggest you switching to direct admin. It has a very user friendly interface and very similar to cpanel.

Thanks, everyone. Do you guys know any good and easy guide to secure VPS? I found a few on google but wanted to know your idea based on your experience in this area.

I recommend ISPConfig if you want something that's free. It's not the prettiest or modern-looking panel but it gets the job done. If you can shell out a couple bucks a month for a license, I think you should go with DirectAdmin.

ISPManager, paid but always have update, very solid and good support.. And security is much better.
DirectAdmin is also a good option

That would be ideal if you can check as many as possible panels and then decide which is better for you. But the trend of last months is about switching to the DA. So you can follow it.
