I mean, yeah, in some countries $5 - $10 or more is a pretty high number but, realistically, we pay pinenuts compared to what we can make out of it.

If anyone can not afford that money for their business, they are doing something wrong. Try renting a local business area offline, that can be expensive. People are just spoiled.

Lots of other registrars offer privacy protection and/or WHOIS data redaction for free nowadays. Namecheap, Dynadot, CloudFlare just to name a few.

If anyone can not afford that money for their business, they are doing something wrong. Try renting a local business area offline, that can be expensive. People are just spoiled.

I agree. If money is that tight for someone they shouldn't be running a business.
