how to promote a tool site?

any advice?

if it's an SEO tool you can promote it on this forum. There's millions of members here interested in SEO, so you would probably make good coin.... IF the tool is valuable, obviously.

Otherwise, why not promote it organically (rank in Google)??? That's the ultimate goal of any affiliate marketer or product owner anyway

No , not SEO tool, of course rank in Google is a good way to promote a website, but it is very hard to do it these days, and once Google upgrade, your position can drop like a hell, basically i don't like Google. anyway thank you for your advice

neither do I (I am one of google's biggest haters and I'd like this mafia company vanished from our lives), but what better options do we have at the moment??

And if your tool is not SEO-related you can still promote it by buying advertising on the biggest forums in the niche of your tool, that's the best alternative I see to google other than Facebook ads

focus on promoting it either via google ads if you see that the lifetime customer value is worth it, if the tool is great and add something fresh, you will make more profit with it.

If you are hesitant do SEO around it but it will be longer of course, but more lasting than just running ads, depends on your strategy, both are useful.

You can also try the youtube route, the same way either with ads or organic content with showing what the tool can do.

Choose one strategy and stick to it.
