For real folks. Something's seriously wrong with the Internets.

We got people campaigning against vaccines. It's insane. We've got people saying the virus that killed so many of my friends isn't real.

Now we have people driving others to suicide because they didn't add alt text to an image. Yes. For real. Alt text. On an image.

Seriously, we got millions of insane people online and something's got to change.

The government did warn us about alt text for disabled people's rights years ago. :D
But it just takes someone who feels your content is discriminating against them, and they can sue you.
There was that deaf woman who got compensation from the uk government, as they didn't have 2 sign interpreters out of their 140+ covid 19 press conferences.
Despite having access to subtitles!

I don't know about others, but this is the reason why I stayed away from popular social sites these days, Facebook, Reddit to name a few. So many dumb people on social sites these days.
- Trolling is increasing since 2015. Maybe before that.
- Cyberbullying is an issue after the rise of Facebook and Whatsapp. People were much nicer on forums before 2011.
- Tons of bad advices from dumb people. Sorry, but I take advices from the experts only and dismiss the rest.

The problem is, dumb people talk the most.

Write a petition to govt for banning social media in your country.
 
Damn that's bad, I'm deaf and losing my hearing and need to be prepared for becoming stone deaf, I would never sue the government for something like this, there were thousand of other places she could have got the information from.

I also use a mobility scooter and accept that not everywhere can adapt for disabilities but I'm going to sue the owners of Mount Everest first as its not accessable for me!!

I think most of those were already insane we just have easy information now.
 
people are so sheltered that with one negative experience they go mental
the biggest problem is that most people on social seek validation, and once they don't get it their entire world collapses
