The points which have not been mentioned above and in the above guide link:
- Do competitor analysis, so that you know where you are lacking and what you need to do. It may be to increase post word count or frequency of post or maybe to add additional categories.
- Backlink building, try variations with CID link, review link, map link, short name link.
- Make business citations so that some of your business info that is under review can be reverified by google from its data aggregators.

Best option - look at the topmost listings for your business and then fillup all content which they already have. Now, get more reviews in drip feed than that of the top one in your local niche. That should get you at the top for your local business niche. Good luck.
