Ahrefs shows they are ranking for 496k keywords.ahrefs shows that it doesn't rank for any keywords, so I don't know what you mean by "The site ranks for a lot of keywords"
Check the domain keywords, not page. I'm seeing 400k+ keywords, but all the pages seemingly have no content.ahrefs shows that it doesn't rank for any keywords, so I don't know what you mean by "The site ranks for a lot of keywords"
Yea, most likely.Check the domain keywords, not page. I'm seeing 400k+ keywords, but all the pages seemingly have no content.
Only thing I can assume is that the website is cloaking, showing the content to Google and then showing nothing to users.

yeah, you're right. I didn't check thatCheck the domain keywords, not page. I'm seeing 400k+ keywords, but all the pages seemingly have no content.

Thats in short term, yea could make wonders but in long term you do not want that. Its good for pumping to some limit. You want to be clean after that. If you have any unfair advantage on other sites/people and is scaled so its big project, that is illegal in google/facebook eyes. Could get you in law problems. Not just ban. Be careful.Yeah - Cloaking and showing the content to Google´s bots based on their ip-adresse.
Checked the site with user agent as G-bot - but that showed no content..
They have around 5 mill pages in index - so I assume that there is no "secret" in their rankings - Other than a shit load of scraped content that are cloaked.
@terrycody - Thx for the link to the article

He is basically cloaking the content and only showing it to Googlebot. Meanwhile user gets redirected to a crypto campaign (mostly) by visiting the domain from SERP. I just wonder how he is ranking so high for some competitive keywords with actually 0 backlinks. PBN probs.I don't get the point of this website ranking with no content, how does he benefit monetarily? Ads? Affiliate marketing? Or am I missing something here?
It is, but this guy have at least 50 copies of it as I've checked yesterday. Its deindexed already lol - Google acted fast on this one.
thats why we cannot have nice things lol - all the problems we have with Google indexing is because of such websites - google is trying to fight them by not indexing their pages at all and we got caught in the crossfire. It is, but this guy have at least 50 copies of it as I've checked yesterday.
I don't think Google is acting stupidly because of this kind of BH websites. I mean it could be like that, who knows, but this kind of cloaked pure shit-content websites is small percent of all websites indexed in G and they've been around for like last 5-10 years. Even @itz_styx points that he is in cloaking and markov content "industry" for last decade and it's still doing fine. thats why outing sites here sucks. it happened many times before. someone has something good going for himself then a competitor gets curious and has to post it on BHW for everyone to see and suddenly it gets deindexed. without outing the site it could have lasted years. maybe it got reported after posting here as whitehats get angry or its because google is watching BHW and takes manual action against these sites.I don't think Google is acting stupidly because of this kind of BH websites. Also, Google deindexed all of his (mariannjohann.dk) websites => probs manual action. Maybe because it was talked there, maybe because of this article mentioned above. Maybe none of my speculations.
