Hey brothers,

Can anyone give me a good understanding of the Google ads cost per conversion for Dropshipping/E-commerce?

If you're in the same ocean, then much is your Cost Per Conversion (Purchase)?

I need to know the average cost.

Thank you.

My/Client Cost Per Conversion (Purchase) will always depend on product price - cost = margin.

Let's say if i earn. $10 per product, i have $10 to play with.
So if my conversion rate. is 3% which means
out of 100 clicks, every 3 visitors convert. my maximum CPC bid can be $0.10

Yes, there are certain scenario where client intend to buy. multiple products or become a lifetime recurring customer or situations like building brand awareness or email list.

Thank you for your response,

Regarding your example the cost per purchase would be ~$3.3 which is very low (Good) as I believe.
Can I really get a cpp as low as that $3.3? Is it possible?
For me, my product cost + shipping = $35 | and I'm pricing it at $69.90 + $3.90 shipping fee
I was thinking that the average cost per purchase in google ads is $15, if we added it to $35 + payments fees around 10% the total cost of product + shipping + marketing + fees = ~$55
Which allows me to have a ~$18 Net profit for each sale
Am I correct?
Also, is $15 cost per purchase high?

CPA price depends upon a lot of factors. Your campaign optimisation to be first, quality score to be second and your audience/targeting.

Product niche is very important, as you say every product consumer has a different physique and buying behaviour.

I totally understand you.
I just want to have an idea of what to expect in my case, what if I ask you: what would be an ideal cost per purchase for a physical product targeting a passion audience about it, in the USA (google ads search + shopping)?

CPA can be from. $15 to. $40 (again it can go up as well, depend upon the margin). However with more CPA amount, you will have a bigger audience to play with

Op based on your responses you seem to misunderstand what google ads do. They just bring traffic, conversion of that traffic is 100% down to your website landing page.

Are you / your designer good at designing landing pages that convert, are you average or is this your first? From what you have said i think this is your first. If so you are likely to be below average.

Which means based on your plan you are likely to lose money until you get better.

Yes, it is my first time.
And I'm focusing better on optimizing the landing page and website design.
What do you suggest?

When you said it can be from $15 minimum, are you saying that $15 is the best cost you can get even if you're doing a good job on the optimization of the landing page and product?

The only way you can optimise is by driving traffic and see what works and what does not. But your proposal of using google ads is a very expensive way to do it, so i do not do it this way.

Why are you suggesting to not use google ads!
Is it only because of a first time?

I do not know anything about your product or your budget, i am simply saying google/fb ppc is the most expensive way to learn how to make money online and ecom.
