There's a reason why GSA is not widely used, its not 2014 anymore

Gsa SER can still make money sites rank fast on Baidu, yandex, Bing, duckduckgo (not necessarily recommended just saying that not all search engines can detect it and penalize like Google).

As a t2/t3 tool it can help establish your pbn/web 2.0 network, which in turn benefits your money site(s).

So yes, it's a powerful tool in a shed full of many tools, even in July 2021

The metric is of course organic traffic driven by ranking for the chosen keywords. If those metrics are climbing predictably after starting a GSA campaign we can suspect that it likely was because of this. If not then it doesn't work.

I'm always open to learning how I could be mistaken but the sites I'm trying to rank with spammy backlinks at the t2/t3 level coming from GSA climb fairly quickly.

Wait 3 - 6 months and see what ranks higher.

Anything else is just wishful thinking.

Back in the Altavista/Excite days you could get results based on an exact match search. Google seems to think it's smarter than the user and tries to guess what they really want and push them that way, makig it a little more nuanced to rank for something specific.

It's still a great tool and updated constantly that is for sure, I wrote a little software that scrapes GSA platforms based on footprints (instead of scraping search engines) it scrapes from other spammed blogs / forums / guestbooks, uploads them to a database, then use a url to feed back into the GSA software, so it works in a loop. This is the best way i have found to use it.

I never really bother with hitting tier 2 / 3, just staright to the money site URL (contextual links anyway), and let them index naturally.

For sites that are long term, I generally manually build 5-20 private pbn or web 2.0s (tier1) and put them on a careful update schedule, then I build links to those with rankerx (tier2) , then I build links to the rankerx links with gsa (tier3). But this is a long term slow process with the hope of getting a permanent high ranking and safe money site.

For lower quality affiliate sites that I want to try to move faster, I delete tier1 or even tier2 as necessary for speed.

If you feed it with the right data and right targets yes it will work. I use it with my money sites and i never ever had any issues. BTW i started to blast with GSA SER 2015 and still been using the same strategy i work on... OFC With simple tweaks like I used to post on PR value when google owns now i use just majestic. I used to blast with public proxies but now i don't ...

It's a tool.. the user must know how it works.

GSA is an automation tool like many other said here...i am here to tell you the missing part.. its content.

i been using gsa for years with lot of sucess.. cant imagine living with such a tool as i do everything automation except content creation.

i still trying and willing to do content automation but still no luck..

TLDR . If you wnt to use gsa for money tiers simply use QUALITY content. Thats all man..

For your idea, quality content includes blog post comments, image comments, profiles, low-effort backlinks like this? Or just full on blog posts? If so, how about GSA's limitations around web2.0 and most blogging sites? How about duplicate content, since GSA works on "xx verified links per minute" rates of speed, how to keep things mixed up enough?

In my case I'm using RankerX for high(er) quality content posts. Then use GSA to just blast the heck out of those RRX backlinks and hope I'll get a few lucky backlinks per 1000 posted.
