Hello guys,
I have recently been banned from AdMob and Google Play Store. All my apps have been removed and Google kept all the money generated from my apps (around 500$).
At first, I created a personal Google Play account and a personal AdMob account. My personal AdMob account got banned, then I created an other AdMob account with my company (a UK Ltd) and linked the existing apps to my new Admob account.
After a few weeks, my personal Google Play account banned and all my apps were removed. Then after a few weeks my second AdMob account also got banned.
Now I still have a Google Play account under my UK Ltd, with 0 app for the moment.
I have a few reasons explaining this ban:
- I didn’t use test ads when testing my apps (I didn’t click on my own ads but I generated fake impressions)
- I started creating apps through AppGeyser before switch to Unity Game Engine. The apps created through AppGeyser templates (some « fishing » games) have been flagged as « duplicate content »
- I created wallpapers/fake call/flappy bird apps using celebrities names (Charli d’amelio etc.) and it seems these keywords were copyrighted as well as the photos and videos inside the app
- I made a few mistakes when placing ads (the banner was covering the content of the app) and received a few warnings for some of my apps because of that
I created around 120 apps. I thought Google might remove a few apps but I didn’t know they would ban my entire account forever.
Now I’m asking myself a few questions:
- If I upload new apps on my Google Play account, will I get banned because this account is linked to my previous account, even if my new apps are 100% compliant ?
- What are the best Mobile Ad Networks for this kind of « Black Hat » app ? I saw there was issues with FAN, which bans apps the same way as AdMob. What do you guys think of Start.io ?
- I saw tons of wallpaper/fake call/trash apps using copyrighted content on the Google Play Store. How do these guys manage to avoid getting banned and run AdMob ads ?
Thanks a lot for your help.
