Go to https://www.names.co.uk/ and go through the checkout process and delete all the added shit they put in the cart.

I didn't sign up for an account or verify this fully but I got the cart saying my .com domain would be free for 1 year.

If you go through the checkout process and they are charging, put in promo code: VPGMHULB

Let me know if this works for you guys.

I just got as far as getting it free in my cart and didn't go through the whole checkout process.

Sadly, it's not free but buy one and get another free kinda offer. Also, Voucher doesn't work at all.

Please try to delete "DIY Website builder - starter" to get completely FREE.

I'm sorry.. It's free .com .co.uk .uk domains
funny, cause I keep hearing people on this forum saying how nothing is really free in life. So yeah, I prefer to have $10 before I buy the free domain, just for good measure.... Also, if I'm reading the renewal price correctly (18 pounds) I'd rather not bother with such a "free" domain to begin with. And yes, I know that I can transfer it out before it expires but after an infuriating experience with mochahost last year when I tried to transfer my domains out of them and they've tried to renew them (luckily, I didn't have any money on my credit card at that exact time) few hours after my transferring request coming in.... I'd rather not mess with this again... not so soon anyway.

So, you see, my friend. Nothing in life is truly free indeed.....
