Yeah, but the long lines in the spring was mostly from pensioners - younger people usually made an appointment via the website (I did). You can find the clips of those lines in youtube - check them and will see that most of the people are 60+. So nope, its not "blatant media manipulation", but rather the truth.

When I went to get my first jab, I saw at least 100+ people in line ahead and behind me.
It's ridiculous, yet I would like to believe there more than 11% that is fully vaccined...

I like when someone starts a conversation around “media manipulation” when in reality they have fallen down the rabbit hole of debunked and garbage conspiracy theories and see manipulation of the media because it isn’t meeting their twisted beliefs.
Is the media manipulated? Yes. Is it manipulated by some magic secret cabal? Nope, it is manipulated by press agents/agencies, often with competing agendas… just look at the differing stories coming out from the former prince and the British royals and how the stories are presented to see how media manipulation actually works, because of there was a secret cabal, do you honestly think the royals wouldn’t be connected and have allowed the negative stories come out?

ok lets look at the original post. the question was why the media first reported that people line up to get the vaccine and then later said they have the lowest rate compared to other countries in the EU.
its simple. in the beginning people who wanted to get the vaccine went there and lined up to get the shot. thats what the media reported (btw the pics you saw with +20 people in line, well that isnt much).
of course the media had an agenda to get more people to vaccinate. nothing wrong with that as we as a society need to try and protect everyone and encourage more people to get protected from worse effects of covid by taking the vaccine. (yes all vaccines and any medication has side effects, but if you look at the stats its soooo low so the risk is very small compared to a wide scale pandemic if nobody would be protected. nothing is 100% secure, thats life not a conspiracy)
then after some months you say only 20% were vaccinated and compared to other countries it is low. i think i read somewhere in this thread that your country has 7000000 people?
so thats 1400000 vaccinated people. that explains the lines you saw with lots of people, but also explains that its not enough to get herd immunity.
where is the conspiracy of the media now saying its not enough people and more need to get the shot?
to me it looks like normal press reporting just letting people know, look we dont have enough people who got the vaccine yet, we need to do more.

I've been telling him this since the day he first posted but alas. It's like if he only registred on the forum to carry his politic rant and it is really becoming annoying.
One of the most famous tactics of controlling the narrative is to just mock the other side with short replies. Kinda like on the today's show, and youre smirking, winking and going "Yeah ok shizo lol!"
they would have kept saying "hey guys! Not enough people are getting vaxxed! at this rate we will be the least vaxed in all of europe!" for the last 4 months.
What happened instead was "everyone is getting it guys! Crowds of people! So many people! Its going awesome" for the first 3 months, and then suddenly last month it switched to "ohoh guys no one is getting it actually, actually we are the least vaxxed, its gonna end up badly if you dont get it you guys"
Now if i was some-kinda elite, my strategy would be to run the campaign luring the people that "everyone is getting it! everyone!", but then at the end i would switch it to "no one is getting it and we are going to get more lockdowns because of you! shame on you! more restrictions!" to maximize convincing people to get vaxxed.
It just seems a little fishy. We also had an article from USA saying "NO! you shouldnt do your own research when it comes to vaccines, trust science" literally telling you not to do research, but just trust their numbers.

Nope. There was no need. There were actual lines here. People here got it, that it's the way out, so 55% the population is fully vaccinated already. Probably it won't go much higher than this though.
In your country - just like everywhere - they simply wanted people to get vaccinated and probably when they saw, it's not working how they imagined, they changed the narrative. They did this through the media there, in other places they pay people to get vaccinated, they give a day off, they give the vaccinated back some of the rights to enter places, where the non-vaccinated can't go etc.
Well mr federal agent, last time i checked the numbers, it seemed that around 60% of the newly infected from delta, were vaccinated 1-2 months ago. I might not be a doctor, I might not be a A+ in chemistry, but as 2+2 logical gambler... I see a vaccine that gives you a 20% chance of temporary immunity but around 0.5-1% chance of heart complications. Given that you will need to take 3 vaccines in 12 months to "keep immunity" thats some dangerous RUSSIAN ROULETTE. Its a 1%+1%+1% of getting heart disease + an UNKNOWN chance of side effects that might show after a year or two.
At this point, its better to just wear the mask, keep away from people and stay safe. And remember if the vaxx does something to you now or after years...no one is paying your hospital bills.

Media manipulation is nothing new... been around since caveman days as people have agendas.
Remember the media has to have eyeballs on their content for them to make money no matter what the medium is where they are espousing and all media is slanted one way or another, and some writers write things they do not even believe because their paychecks rely on it.

Fortunately not just according to the media, but the situation is really good since summer started. I don't follow the numbers too closely these days (no need), but apparently no-one died over the weekend due to the virus. After checking the numbers, we have ~50 new cases a day, 0-2 dead. 55 people in hospital, 9 in ICU at the moment. In comparison the worst days we had 10k+ new cases daily, 300+ dead a day, over 12k people in hospital, over 1.5k in ICU.
They're expecting a new (smaller) wave in early fall though.
I just came back from a 4 day long music festival. It was business as usual (usual=pre-covid19). A couple ten thousand people. No masks, no social distancing or no other rules (apart from that only the vaccinated people were allowed to go). Hand sanitizers were everywhere though. I will attend two other in the next month.
