I won't disagree about the USDT issue, I don't understand what Binance and Coinbase have to do with that though.Crypto market is not as transparent as you may want to believe. It is just as rigged as stock market, probably even worse, considering Tether is printing like crazy, as well as Binance, Coinbase etc.... crypto market is irrational and I wouldn't invest one cent into it. It is matter of time before it all collapses, and many guys will be left with worthless digital coins, that anyone can create with copy/paste.
However, if you agree that USDTs are printed mindlessly and USDs are printed mindlessly and Bitcoins are not printed like crazy...who will lose value?
It's a simple problem of supply/demand.
If it's true that hyperinflation will cause an economic crysis, then we can expect that deflationary assets will increase in value.
Deflationary assets that promise to change the financial system even more so.
If USDT bubble bursts (it could happen), I could see Bitcoin going down for a bit, like a flash crash, depending how the story unfolds, but should recover super fast IMO.
